Christians don't worship on the Sabbath. Christians(generally) worship on Sunday(the First day of the week). Christians, as a rule, do not keep the Sabbath.

When Roman Empire accepted christianity and replaced it instead all roman gods, they made a compromise. So holy sabbath was replaced by roman Sun God, so they could celebrate the day of God Sun.

Nobody got rid of it, that commandment holds. The Catholic's changed the sabbath day to the day of the Sun god Sunday, but everyone should still hold the sabbath. I believe its most important to have a sabbath, what day is not of the greatest importance, do your best to follow the rules giving the limitations you have.

Someone needs to tell the pope that Jesus has NO mercy for pedophiles. He just doesn't get it.
