Theater etiquette is absolutely horrible or not existing. People talking during the presentation, kicking your chair, children having temper tantrums and running around like feral animals, people playing with their phones, nope, had it, I wait for it to be streamed or on optical media. F**k the theater experience, it isn't worth the headache, the parking, the prices and certainly not lice or bedbugs. Good riddance!

I stopped going to theaters as often about 5-6 years ago with the amount of streaming content available and just bad rehashed movies (no originality anymore) as actors and actresses started making their speeches and showing their deranged attitude to our president I became completely turned off by anything they were in and the most Hollywood became in lockstep with progressive/socialist/communist policies the more I completely tune them out. I watch a show or two here or there on the fire stick, the only live TV I watch is football and I’m losing interest in that as well I can’t stand watching TV with commercials... so I don’t and now that YouTube is on TV in HD I mostly just turn on a well made documentary about literally any subject I want to watch and watch it without a made for stupid tv audience vibe.

there’s really no reason to go to theaters, you can have a 88” 4K HD tv for very cheap, you can stream what ever you want you want and most of all, Hollywood produces a lot of crap, their comedy’s aren’t funny, their action movies aren’t original nor are their suspense or adventure movies and it’s mostly become heavily filled with propaganda and bad actors/actresses who have made themselves toxic.

People with brains have moved on and we aren’t coming back.

The problem with this is that there are very good Hollywood actors who are shit in real life - hateful of their fans and disrespectful. Therefore, there are likely many movies that would be good entertainment, but by going you are perpetuating the idea that these people are somehow worthy of our time and money and their fame.

Trump cut off the media subsidies during the government shutdown, Bush II and Obama were giving Hollywood and the news media tons of cash. Trump stopped that program, but it might be too late. It looks like the media no longer knows how to be entertaining.

Last few times I went to the theaters I felt like I was in a day care center for illegal immigrants. Families bringing their 3, 4 year old children to PG-13 movies. One time one of these kids was literally running up and down the aisles clapping wood blocks together.
