Tom Clancy Division is totally in your control. You collect set pieces and mods with varying talents and then you test them out in a shooting range and in arenas. Various pieces have different skills like fire, explosives, weapon damage that increases as your armor goes down, or talents where you have more weapon damage when you fire first.

All the gear pieces and named weapons have fun names and some of them are very rare which increases the thrill of the hunt.

I actually write screenplays. And, recently, I paid for a professional evaluation of my latest, Christian-based work. I was bluntly told that in order for it to have any chance of being made, it would have to be rewritten with the lead character (a WOMAN) having a LESBIAN affair, complete with graphic sex, with another, specific, married other leading WOMAN CHARACTER.

So, there you have it. Unless you have loads of gay porn in your work, the agents, managers, and studios won't touch a script.

Plus once a movie is out in theater, it's 60-90 days before we can rent it $5.99 or less OR buy it $17.99 or less & stream it.

I stopped going to the movies 10 years ago after I asked politely for the person sitting in front of me to stop texting, it turned into a yelling match and the manager said he could not stop customers from using their phones.

Ever since the Chinese started to buy up hollywood there hasn’t been hardly any block busters like the first Star Wars, Jurassic Park and other type movies. Originality has almost stopped and the best they can do now days are tons of remakes or a series of films based on a good first film like The Hunger Games. Films that make you think are practically long gone. Not surprised ticket sales have gone down.

They have to make remakes due to how rights are held in Hollywood. When you buy the rights to a property you are typically bound to make a movie within 5 years or else the rights revert back to the IP holder, typically a writer, author, or estate. So everything will always be remade every 5 years from here on out just because studios would rather make a shitty flop and maintain exclusive rights for another half decade than lose a potentially profitable property.

And they never hired back most of the writers after the strike so all the actual good screenplays are at least 10-15 years old now.

I think "suspension of disbelief" is a way overused phrase that people use to justify absolute shit writing and plot holes in movies, but in this case, it's warranted. They probably used the name "1917" because their focus groups showed it was a better name that 1916 or 1918 or whatever. Don't take it so literally :)

We stop going to any movies with Trump hating Hollowood celebrites. I feel sorry for the theater owners. We do make it a point to see movies with conservative actors such as Eastwood or Willis.
