What would you do if someone you knew saw you in Walmart and turned around and walked away to avoid you?

If they are having a low beta- endorphin day and I feel they might tolerate it, maybe slip up behind them and put a hand on their shoulder and say, “Hey it’s good to see you! I have to get home now, you take good care!@.

If they are just walking off I’d pretend I didn’t see them too and respond to recognition with an “I understand” smile and nod.

Because it’s winter and it’s Walmart. Both suck about now.

Sometimes I run away if I spot a male friend at the store and I look like hell (and I look like hell quite frequently while running errands lol)

You can call it a mixture of embarrassment and pride.

Happened to me multiple times. Sometimes people are in hurry too busy, do not have time. So it is absolutely fine with me. I did the same thing.

I doubt if I'd notice them, or recognize them. People look different when they're wearing different cloths.

I do this. As I’ve gotten older I don’t like to converse.

I’ve snubbed people who have never done anything to me. I have to be me.
