In relation to this event from my own experience at standing Rock . Understand tend of thousands of veterans went assembled peacefully linked arms and said enough . Before another canister of gas is launched , another praying child of twelve attacked with dogs and killed,before another American is held in a dog cage nude outside and sprayed with water in subzero temperatures you must first do it to us . And the government stood down or so we thought . Then many of us coming home found out the reality the sick reality . The money collected by the two founders of veterans stand for America Micheal woods and Wesley Clark jr were spent not on the people we went to help but on themselves . The senior staff began infighting along political lines right and left . And the master list of all the veterans and donors was given to private security and government forces . I know from my own experience coming home . I was imprisoned and became a felon overnight because I had to courage to stand against an injustice. That is what you may face coming back home . I'm not saying do not go .I am saying be aware of the price . I wasn't even supposed to go ,I ended up having to because the regional Commander for the southeast couldn't at the last minute .
