The Governor used probably too-wide reaching state of emergency powers to ban guns on the capitol grounds during a protest for a single day. 98% of this site believes that there will be massive violence during said protest, including many shot and killed. Doesn't that at least a bit lend credence to his decision?

Unfortunately, the state supreme court ruled in the Governor's favor, and there isn't enough time to take this to the federal supreme court. And even if we could, are you sure it's a great idea?

2A is clear that it mentions you have no right to specific types of firearms it's up to the state and federal law. SCOTUS already unanimously approved this and will not hear it again. Try to keep up if you think you know so much, try looking up the Federal Assault weapons ban and magazines too, was law for ten years if you were older than some millenial cuck you would already have known this is perfectly Constitutional. The cops know that the Constitution doesn't apply to "citizens", only free sovereigns. You a US Citizen? No Constitutional rights.
