I really like raccoons...Many long years ago... a raccoon took apart the old pump from my swamp cooler... I don't know if it figured out what it was.. but their curiosity is huge which is why one doesn't make house pets of them... they have hands and will take apart your lamps and more. |

Yesterday, I had to start a prednisone taper down. Well, I didn't have to, but my breathing was rough. I like to breath so I am obeying my angel nurse. I am very very blessed to have my nurse check on me by phone each day. Not to mention Mr Wizard always happily answer any questions I have. Kitty and I have another long busy day of reading, drawing and resting to do. My husband might turn tv off and play some black jack with me. I hope so. Kitty likes me to win her pennies.  Out of vanilla ice cream, so going to try just plain rocky road. I have not had that ice cream in forever. I hope it's as tasty as ever, or as I remember it to be. Today is blue grass day, so I am listening to the best of Flagg and Scruggs sing ' 'down the road'...every time I get the blues I walk the soles right off my shoes. Dunno why I love her so, gal of me lives down road.' Mostly blue grass makes me cheerful! So what is everyone doing today? Louis, have you put masks on any other one else in your yard? Does an Amarillo need a mask? These are the burning questions of MY day. But then again (quoting kitty) my head ain't right. Naturally when she tells me this I smile and thank her! I am sure she is right and with the world so off my not right head helps lots. I am off for now. Will read some GLP (gotta get my fix) than at 2 I take rd meds I just take each day at the same time. At the same time I will eat 2 tiny chocolate eggs of love . Tomorrow I will start having 1 a day as I am running low. I love my chocolate eggs of love , chocolate eggs of love lady friend every time I eat one it is like a hug from you and I hug you back then too. It is remarkable how much love a tiny egg can hold.I watched a movie today night/this morning. Actually I have seen the movie many times and I love the movie. It is called House of D. Robin Williams and David Decovney. (Pardon spellin') I really highly recommend it. Kitty gives it 5 pass out of 5 paws. It is just a good movie I watch now and then (I have a few movies I really like, and I bought them for my kindle, never paid more than 5.00 a movie though, cuz I am cheap when buying movies) So I shall return, I am trying hard to stay out of trouble. Actually, I am not trying hard, but I don't much have the energy to make trouble, and besides I wouldn't know how to make trouble. Please, I am open to ideas! monkeyflower and kitty...kitty might be making trouble, laying on my lap purring. I don't think so though, no claw marks on me now...  Hello, Miss Flower. I'm glad to hear that you are still getting good hospice care, even though it's been cut back some in these weird times. I really like Robin Williams movies. I just watched one called Fisher King which I liked a lot. It goes from drama to comedy and has various kinds of human interactions. If you are just into totally light comedy type stuff you may not like it- as there are some dark aspects to it as well. I love the way you write about your day and your Kitty character, lol. I Miss walking with the coyote actually... who would join me when I walked in the nearby gulch in fact. I never feared him. or the little fox that came out at night. When I went to Seoul .. South Korea...I left my kitty door open because I had no one coming into to check the cats... and I didn't want them to freak out with everything locked up. Well Momma and perhaps her kids came in... went thru 2 3 pound bags of peanuts and other stuff... left the shells everywhere.. dumped over one of the buckets of water I left washing up I assume.. and drinking.. but otherwise all was good... And cats of course we all fine.... Momma Raccoon often came out in the day or early evening to garden with me. I called her "RACCIE"... |
