The Real Reason for the Impeachment Delay?

Heard some radio conspiracy speculation today that could very well be true. Theory is that Pelosi delayed sending over the articles of impeachment for timing purposes. The Iowa caucuses are coming up along with other state primaries. Pelosi no doubt backs Biden and by delaying the trial she will effectively keep Senators Warren, Sanders and Klobachar tied up in the Senate with minimal time to campaign in person. Who benefits? . . . Sleepy Joe of course.
