Bought a new home. Lot more land. Paid off 2 cars. Started a new company, still running well btw. Continued stacking & stocking. Guess that's about it. Oh & had another kid. Seems to happen about every 9yrs or so.

I have a new job in a new town, bought a house and I'm no longer living in an obamanation, life is good!!!

Doing only what I want and nothing that I don't, five years ago working a 48 hour week for a living. Yeah, you could say life has got better.

5 years ago I was doing good. Now I am Bankrupt and broke!

Different location.
Different clothes.
Different food.
Different products.
Different currency.
Different fillings in my teeth.
Different health (better, thankfully).
Different situation.
Different perspective.
Same crap on the television.

Mind you, I'm still picking away at something that's been on my to-do list since I was three, but we all have goals of varying lengths. The longest one on the list does tend to take the longest...

I'm no longer sleeping in a house full of trash rats cockroaches and chickens, eating out of peanut butter jars, slugging whiskey. Still smoke pot

Mine is. It's a million times more stressful. I'd give anything to have a tiny bit of the peace I had back then.

I'm literally afraid to feel any tiny twinge of happiness because I fear something bad is around the corner.

I’m coming out of the bunker Groundhogs Day. If I see my shadow, another 25 years in the bunker.

5 years closer to death.

I got a raise and a promotion. There is more car/truck traffic in town. I blew-out my back, sciatica. Did a kitchen remodel. Made six sets of custom loudspeakers. Trapped 26 raccoons (seriously!). Started using more hand tools and fewer power tools. Made four ukuleles five guitars, a mountain dulcimer, and one bass. Bought a modern phone. I have more grey hair. I saw a total eclipse in Idaho. My son and daughter both graduated college and got jobs. Got rid of cable and satellite TV. Put LEDs in all lamps.

I dont taunt you on the bad word site anymore.
