Many years ago I glanced outside and saw one of these black rings..
It was right above the field separating our two neighborhoods.
Bright sunny day and I had heard no explosions.
I started searching online for what was floating outside..seemed the answer was mostly an explosion of some sort.
I heard no explosions...

Collective curry fart gas, probably from a mosque.
