FBI tells family of Kristin Smart, who vanished 23 years ago, to be prepared for news: report | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77844203 United States 01/22/2020 03:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What the fuck. I seriously hope this is is a bullshit story. The FBI teasing the mother of her missing (presumably dead) child? This has my blood boiling...What SANE human would go to the mother and say "we know what happened and will tell you later?" after all these years? Everyone lost their brain? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68224088 That's why a singing telegram is so great, like an icebreaker... Bom bom bom Hey guess what, your daughter is back We found her head in a brown paper sack Always so classy. Until something happens to his own children. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78309684 United States 01/22/2020 03:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sounds like a cruel cruel hoax. I mean why would they wait and torture them like this ? FBI spox tells CNN it is "unaware of any imminent announcement, development concerning Kristin Smart’s investigation” after @Recordnet report the long missing teen’s mom was told "to be ready for a development" 10:42 AM - 22 Jan 2020 [link to twitter.com (secure)] |

The Smarts expectation is probably that Flores did it and their daughter is buried in his mom’s back yard. This is based on the “Your Own Backyard” podcast. But, this line from the article that was posted earlier gives me pause. Since cadaver dogs alerted on three locations in Paul’s room, it strongly suggests that Kristin died in that room. Only Paul Flores knows the exact details of what transpired in room #128 of Santa Lucia Hall on the Cal Poly campus. For seventeen years, Paul Flores has remained steadfast in his silence, while occasionally attempting to drown a nagging conscience in alcohol. “When the truth of this finally comes out, you are just not going to believe it.” These words were purportedly said to the Smarts’ attorney, by an attorney representing Paul Flores. IMO, the police in this case bungled and dilly dallied it into failure. They didn’t take it seriously in the beginning, they lost evidence, they didn’t investigate the suspect and they wasted the warrant to search the back yard. It’s crazy. IDGAF |

Quoting: Where Eagles Dare Denise Smart, the woman's mother, told the Stockton Record that she was contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and was told to "be ready." "This is really going to be something you don't expect. We want to give you the support you need," she said she was told. The report said the FBI was not clear on what the development was, she was told that her family might want to "get away for a while," and she should secure a family spokesperson. The mother admitted to the paper that since she was told about the development she has had anxiety. Smart, who was 19 when she vanished, attended California Polytechnic State University and was last seen in the early morning of May 25, 1996, while returning to her dorm after a party near the campus. At the time, another student told authorities he left Smart near her dormitory after they and another female student walked back. Anonymous Coward User ID: 64521243 Canada 01/22/2020 04:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm going to speculate some half-honest researcher at the FBI was looking over OLD Epstein records and found a link? Which may have led to a discovery. If this person(s) found a link to Epstein, they are not going to have a job much longer. Pedophile Epstein is one of ((("Their"))) favorites. . |

Tell a family something like this and still not tell them anything? That's some real shitty agents and way of handling a case. I feel really bad for that family and as a mother myself, this would have been unacceptable. It's detective stuff. They're trying to make someone nervous (and hopefully make a mistake <or two>). On the surface, when it comes out like this, in this way, it is for a very specific reason. Expect an arrest not too far down the line. And the story WILL be huge (and it must go deep and get VERY Dahmer-ish perhaps?). |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77008568 Canada 01/23/2020 05:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What a mind fuck. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77008568 "We have news about your daughters disappearance, but we'll tell you sometimes in the future." THat's the ^ it exactly! Why not tell them just before it breaks to the media so the family has time to get out of Dodge Telling them so far in advance is just a mind fuck. How the AF did the FBI become so grossly incompetent and traitorous? Because some lesbian cunt who never had children didn't think it through before calling them. They should have waited until the day before the news release. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 16762662 United States 01/24/2020 05:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The FBI denies having anything to do with this latest semi hoax. What happened is a FORMER FBI agent, probably looking for cash and fame, apparently told the mother over the phone something to that effect. That's all they actually know. They have no new information at all. So someone is lying, likely to test the waters of TV fame. The authorities know the outcome of many cases they never announce. You all know the core of them is deep state, why would they conduct business honestly? It's done just like everything else in this world. Not everybody gets justice in the quid pro quo system. So why they have so much credibility to anyone I have no idea. The entire system is rigged, over the years it's gotten worse. |
