Balls. I live in Cheshire and my daughter's school have just come back from an Italian skiing trip.

If you listen to the telcon, you will see that there is nothing there that we haven't been talking about for weeks. We are ahead of the game, if we listened to ourselves.

The only thing that has changed is that more people will be made aware, and will act accordingly. I don't imagine panic buying in the US yet. Many people won't listen to the CDC, and those that do act, will probably do so quietly and calmly, so not to appear like a doomsdayer.

I was at a local Menards today, and there are still a ton of masks and respirators.

So, to most of us here, nothing has changed. We saw it coming, and I hope most of us acted responsibly.

Coronavirus live updates: CDC warns Americans of 'significant disruption'

U.S. health officials issued a strong warning about novel coronavirus on Tuesday -- that it's no longer a matter of if, but when it will spread in the U.S., and that Americans should prepare for a "significant disruption."

"Ultimately, we expect we will see community spread in this country," Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said Tuesday at a news conference.

Messonnier added that Americans should channel their concern about the virus, officially called COVID-19, into preparing for its arrival.

I asked my sister to ask her hubby who works at a private airport and also flys private jets. Private jets from other countries have to land at a regular airport and go through customs. Once they hAve gone through customs they can get back on plane go anywhere.

So who from Congress is traveling?
Did I see Pelosi is or was in Israel? Wonder if she knew?

The U.S. Navy's 7th Fleet said Tuesday it will screen all personnel boarding its ships for coronavirus -- formally called COVID-19 -- as the virus spreads across Asia.

"We have developed plans to screen all personnel including but not limited to crew, visitors, civilians, contractors, and new check-ins gaining access to [7th Fleet] units and platforms," said Lt. Joe Keiley, 7th Fleet spokesperson, in a statement. "These additional screening requirements will include newly gained personnel and those returning from leave."...
