Aunt Intel - Southern Indiana nephew with flu like symptoms, tested for flu 2 days ago was placed in hospital and intubated because of pneumonia today. Per the aunt the docs said "They are hoping incubating him for 24 hours will gives his body time to rest and heal."

Asked the aunt if he was tested for covid-2019 she said she did not think so but is going to request.

Just had someone say this is no worse than common cold or flu. Said of 800 cases only xx deaths. I was like how many of those 800 were cured then I thought hell how many did they actually test.

Top health official denies low number of confirmed coronavirus cases in US caused by faulty tests

Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said in a phone call with reporters Friday that cases were low because of actions the U.S. government had taken to limit travel.

"We aggressively controlled our borders, and therefore slowed the entrance of the virus in the U.S.," she said. When asked why other countries such as China and South Korea had administered tens of thousands of tests, she said it was necessary there because their "epidemiological situation is different than in the U.S." In the U.S., only 500 people have been tested.

Typically the news slows on weekends. Gov PR types don't typically work weekends. Sends the wrong message to the masses. There will probably be 1 or 2 big stories, after all the markets are closed for 2 days now.

Against my better judge ment, I am now at MarsCon in Bloomington Bloomington MN. I've decided that if I'm going to get this, I want it now.
