Im going to use the excuse for asking this stupid question on working from 8-6:30 and being wore out.
So what do the new numbers tell us with them counting the not tested in the count. LoL i hope you can figure out what im asking
Quoting: granny2 The new numbers tell us that we were right, that the Chinese were not reporting accurately.
The new numbers reflect the clinical knowledge the Chinese have learned over the last month, so they can now forego testing, and diagnose based on symptoms only, and don't have to wait for a positive test.
The new numbers don't account for anyone taken from their homes directly to the crematoriums.
The new numbers give a "better" picture of the situation, but of course are still very low.
The concerning number is the confirmed cases number. 14K+ new today. Yesterday it was 2000 new confirmed. I'm sure there will be some computer guy who will be able to look back and generate numbers for the past few weeks so we get a better death count total.
It;s going to mess up all the predictive spreadsheets.
It paints a much doomier situation in China. And they announced today they are building another 1000 bed hospital in Hubei somewhere.
I'm sure there' more, but that's just off the top of my head.
