My dog. I've stated my facts on the original C-virus thread.
Look at the words and the way they are used. Do they state everytime that people are being quarantined for Novel 2019 Coronavirus? Or do they just say Corona virus? To fully understand the way propaganda is used, you must understand the words and context of which they are used or, may be implied. In case you didn't know, the use of language, contract law and implied consent is one of, if not the most important issue we face. Never mind the legalized use of propaganda against us.
Keep in mind, I could believe there are many more deaths in China. BUT, there is absolutely no way you or I can prove it unless we had on the sight, first hand knowledge.
Vids coming out of China hold no water. Complete communist rule and immediate death if you go against the rulers. So, that begs the question of how, still, at this stage vids are allowed out? It's on purpose, take the blinders off for what is staring right at you. Respectfully, just my opinion.

Johnson County is in the DFW MSA. Population of 170K. 90% white. But being that close to Dallas anything is possible. There are some Chinese bazaars where mandarin speaking Chinese locals own and operate large department stores full of cheap imported Chinese crap. Half the women in Johnson County probably shop there at least once a month.

A total of 3441 patients were discharged

33,693 patients are still being treated in the hospital, of which 5647 are critically ill and 1437 are critically ill.

Why the numbers are wonky:

With the deepening of understanding of new coronavirus pneumonia and the accumulation of experience in diagnosis and treatment, in view of the characteristics of the epidemic in Hubei Province, the General Office of the National Health and Health Commission and the Office of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued the "Diagnosis and Treatment Plan for Pneumonia of New Coronavirus (Version) "adds" clinical diagnosis "to the case diagnosis classification in Hubei Province, so that patients can receive standardized treatment according to confirmed cases as early as possible to further improve the success rate of treatment. According to the plan, Hubei Province has recently conducted investigations on suspected cases and revised the diagnosis results, and newly diagnosed patients were diagnosed according to the new diagnosis classification. In order to be consistent with the classification of case diagnosis issued by other provinces across the country, starting today, Hubei Province will include the number of clinically diagnosed cases into the number of confirmed cases for publication.


Comment: So, they are adding clinically diagnosed people in to the numbers now. That is, not tested and confirmed, but using clinical criteria only.

I agree in two weeks. At that point China will re-open its factories as this event was timed to be inline with the Chinese New Year time off till end of Feb. Happens every year. If they do re-open the factories that will mean they( China) perpetrated a genocide possibly on a certain number of their people. But doom off for us.
If not, then you need to worry because it's not under control.

So now that there are counting "clinically diagnosed" too, perhaps we will get a little better picture of the true situation.

It would only make sense. The doctors and nurses are smart people, they don’t need a test for what they can plainly see and diagnose right in front of their eyes.

The new numbers tell us that we were right, that the Chinese were not reporting accurately.

The new numbers reflect the clinical knowledge the Chinese have learned over the last month, so they can now forego testing, and diagnose based on symptoms only, and don't have to wait for a positive test.

The new numbers don't account for anyone taken from their homes directly to the crematoriums.

The new numbers give a "better" picture of the situation, but of course are still very low.

The concerning number is the confirmed cases number. 14K+ new today. Yesterday it was 2000 new confirmed. I'm sure there will be some computer guy who will be able to look back and generate numbers for the past few weeks so we get a better death count total.

It;s going to mess up all the predictive spreadsheets.

It paints a much doomier situation in China. And they announced today they are building another 1000 bed hospital in Hubei somewhere.


I'm sure there' more, but that's just off the top of my head.

Second coronavirus case confirmed in San Diego

the infected patient is an evacuee hospitalized with UC San Diego Health System shortly after arriving at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar on Friday.

Unlike the first patient who tested positive, the second remained in an isolation room at the hospital when results were received.

50 and one of the new cases worked at a bank.

It looks like the other provinces are still testing everyone for confirmation. I expect they will test until they get overwhelmed like Hubei did.

11. Case 50 is a 62 year-old male Singapore Citizen with no recent travel history to China. He is currently warded in an isolation room at NCID. Prior to hospital admission, he went to work at DBS Asia Central at Marina Bay Financial Centre (12 Marina Boulevard). He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 12 February morning.

12. MOH has initiated epidemiological investigations and contact tracing to identify individuals who had close contact with the case.

8. Case 49 is a 46 year-old male Singapore Citizen with no recent travel history to China. He is currently warded in an isolation room at NCID.

9. He reported onset of symptoms on 3 February, and sought treatment at a GP clinic on 8 February. He went to the emergency department at the National University Hospital (NUH) on 8 February and was discharged on the same day. He was admitted to NUH on 10 February. Subsequent test results confirmed COVID-19 infection on 11 February afternoon.

10. Prior to hospital admission, he had gone to work at Grace Assembly of God (Tanglin) and Grace Assembly of God (Bukit Batok). He stays at Toh Guan Road.

Case 48

5. Case 48 is a 34 year-old male Singapore Citizen with no recent travel history to China but was in Malaysia on 26 January 2020. He is currently warded in an isolation room at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).
6. He reported onset of symptoms on 1 February, and had sought treatment at four general practitioner (GP) clinics on 2 February, 4 February, 7 February, 9 February and 10 February. He went to NCID on 10 February, and was subsequently confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 11 February afternoon.

7. Prior to hospital admission, he had visited Plaza Singapura (68 Orchard Road), Star Vista (1 Vista Exchange Green) and Fusionopolis (1 Fusionopolis Place). He also went to work at Grace Assembly of God (Tanglin) (355 Tanglin Road) and Grace Assembly of God (Bukit Batok) (1 Bukit Batok West Avenue 4). He stays at Bukit Batok Street 25.

US military prepping for coronavirus pandemic

U.S. Northern Command is executing plans to prepare for a potential pandemic of the novel coronavirus, now called COVID19, according to Navy and Marine Corps service-wide messages issued this week.

An executive order issued by the Joint Staff and approved by Defense Secretary Mark Esper this month directed Northern Command and geographic combatant commanders to initiate pandemic plans, which include ordering commanders to prepare for widespread outbreaks and confining service members with a history of travel to China.

The Navy and Marine Corps messages, issued Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, reference an executive order directing U.S. Northern Command to implement the Department of Defense Global Campaign plan for Pandemic Influenza and Infectious Diseases 3551-13.

The document serves as the Pentagon’s blueprint for planning and preparing for widespread dispersion of influenza and previously unknown diseases.

2. Effectively, this means the govt is giving doctors greater discretion to clinically diagnose patients. Previously, they could only confirm cases with the nucleic acid test kits. But a govt expert said recently these were only 30-40 percent accurate.

5. The point is to isolate these patients quickly and treat them. Doctors are now clinically diagnosing these people with CT scans. The advantage of these scans are they are immediate. Previously, patients had to wait at least two days for their results.

6. Samples had to be transported for hours to the province's relatively few labs. The nucleic acid tests are also dependent on the people sampling these patients. There's room for error. But the disadvantage of using CT scans is that they might not catch people w mild symptoms.
