CORONOVIRUS CARRIER WAS AT WESTMINSTER CONFERENCE

A person who has been diagnosed with coronovirus attended a 200-strong central London conference in Westminster last week.

The unnamed sufferer attended the UK Bus Summit at the QEII Centre on February 6.

Public Health England along with Transport Times informed all attendees that one of the conference-goers had subsequently been diagnosed, the Financial Times reports.

It urged anyone with symptoms to stay indoors and contact the NHS helpline.

In a letter, Public Health England said: “While the degree of contact you may have had with the case at the summit is unlikely to have been significant, we are taking a precautionary approach and informing you”.
