The steroids will help everyone who takes them as long as they keep taking them. It is the short bursts like the 5 day Z pack shit that will harm patients. Once the lungs get opened by the steroids and then close again when the steroids run out is when you get into trouble. Don't even bother with a short term steroid pack. You have to be over the virus before going off them. It comes back 3 times worse if you are not over the virus. If you can get your hands on a longer term supply then they will help you through the whole battle. If you do get yourself a Z pack don't take them as they say...5 4 3 2 1 or whatever the pack says. Take a smaller dose and string them out longer. The steroid shot they give out with the steroid packs is good for at least the first day or longer. Take 1 the night after the shot and then only take 2 a day the rest of the week.
