one of those type films was mostly set in a US hospital and at a latter point they were going going to nuke the town

I never found what film that was

Virus 1995

I lived in Humboldt County (when this was filmed) Many of us got jobs as "extras" - I tried, but was pregnant (so nope - they would NOT hire me - as "makeup" was intensive / and a growing belly would be hard to hide (lol)).

They DID appreciate the idea of having a (fake) pregnant Extra though - (so I think they put that into the script)

I met the actors! It was lots of fun, and a great location (for a film like this) - Early to mid 1990's was a more innocent time - until the Clinton's (and Al Gore) destroyed our Buzz - (feels like centuries ago).
