It’s video game driving. Sure it’s a dangerous country if you’re a dumbass but otherwise it’s fun as hell. You need something agile and speedy for passing. Plus I have the added complication of having an insanely inclined curvy driveway. I have to have AWD or some sort of serious traction control. Quoting: Catseye I’m thinking about a used Lexus or a new Beemer but I want other ideas. The Lexus is reliable but the Beemers are known money pits. Will a new car warranty prevent any new car from being a money pit? Routine maintenance on anything is much cheaper here. I could never afford a Beemer back in Florida, for instance. I already have an 2009 X5 4.8x with a blown motor, the second in 14 months. I want to fix it and keep it to have to drive once in awhile when I need an SUV and would prefer to buy a car to drive most of the time. Basically, I want comfort and speed while hugging the road. And for somewhere around $50K. cars I had in the past: ‘85 Trans Am, ‘87 Corvette, ‘90 Formula Firebird, 2011 Cadillac STS but this X5 is the most fun to drive any thoughts from fellow driving enthusiasts? from what I can tell online, Beemers are the most fun but Lexus will end up costing much less. Vladimir, you need a tank. |

Quoting: Crypto-Tard You can find it on Craigslist, just be careful of what the ad promises. :rusty car: :give a man a tru: I need a man, too, guess I better consider a truck, LOL! Get a truck and you'll for sure get a man. You won't be disappointed! I'm happily married now, but one of my favorite girlfriends drove a truck. a truck may not be the best choice for the DR, but my F150 suits me just fine for down here in TX! |

Thoughts create, mind them well. |
