Anybody? why is their airport still open with nearly 50 flights scheduled?

That STILL doesn't make any sense...IF the entire city is supposedly on lockdown the airport should have been the first thing closed. Again...as usual...something doesn't smell right.

Apparently people are taking their chances. I know that planes are full of businessmen and women who do business for companies in China. Tourists, students, visiting families, too, are always traveling to and from China. Planes are full.

I've visited China several times. I use the Chinese Embassy in NYC for a Visa. It is so crowded there! You spend hours waiting. They can't even process a Visa in one day. You apply, give them your info AND passport, and return in a few days to pick up your passport with a Visa inside. My daughter did the same in Los Angeles in 2014. Had to wait a few days and drive from her home in San Diego to pick it up

Apparently their "lock down" doesn't include flights, just their local public transportation and their Huanan Market that closed. I've used their busses in Beijing. They are very cheap, but so crowded, you could barely move. They allow so many people on! Then again, subways in NYC are just like that during rush hour.

Oh well. This should be interesting.
