That's because Russia tried to help Hillary by later making it seem like thye helped Trump.

It's probably over most people's heads but Russia has been offering assistance to Hillary this whole time by pretending to help Trump - giving psychopaths like schiff the ammo to accuse Trump of collusion with Russia (eyes bug out as this is said).
