I got a response back from the Mayor of Sammamish and she said that Seattle is considering canceling because their performers are canceling too.... Stay tuned...

The NYC Chinese New Year Parade is Feb 9 this year. No news of cancellation yet. But a half million people attend this event.

Seattle is FULL of Chinese. If anything is cancelled, it will only be a few events OF it. So, that should factor in well with this Corona Virus. But, no one is gonna cancel Chinese New Year in Seattle.

Honolulu just cancelled their celebration. Huge Chinese population their. All the merchants refused to attend.

Wow, I was asked about this who virus shit today. My thoughts are a) it's man-made and weaponized, b) a population control mechanism, c) being hyped up so someone makes $$ off of it somehow.

Sad that a lot of upcoming Chinese New Yrs celebrations are being adversely affected. The Year of the Rat is about new beginnings. Crap...hope that doesn't mean a literal gig w/ billions dying off.

Took the words right out. We have to many Holidays and "celebrations" all an excuse to drink and eat like pigs. Other than the fact most people have to work to hard and shouldn't have to, we have to many holidays. We should have a nationwide 4 day work week all year, 10 hours per days. They need to ditch Presidents' day and MLK day, both stupid. Forth of July is getting redundant as well.
