Anonymous Coward User ID: 78331302 United States 01/25/2020 09:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Arizona, but please leave your socialist/commie/progressive shit behind... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78068745 I'm not a socialist or commie or progressive, so no problem. But again that is not a foreign country. It would not be my first choice for another state, but I have nothing against it. I was really looking at other countries though. I did live outside the US for five years in South Korea and returned in 2012. It was a nice country and a positive experience. Clean, relatively crime-free, very conservative culture in many ways for those interested. just remember that anywhere you go "out of country" the locals will target you. As an American you will be a big target. For some it will be hate, for some they will believe you have hidden riches. It won't be all the locals, just the criminal ones. So they will probably kill you, slowly, with a lot of pain. Which is why I do not suggest trying to "run away". |

It lies roughly north of Saint-Malo and to the west of Jersey and the Cotentin Peninsula. With several smaller nearby islands, it forms a jurisdiction within the Bailiwick of Guernsey, a British Crown dependency. The jurisdiction is made up of ten parishes on the island of Guernsey, three other inhabited islands (Herm, Jethou and Lihou), and many small islets and rocks. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78068745 You are free to do as you please, but you will be a target in your non native land. I would recommend finding the most free state in the US instead and then make sure you don't change it into the shit hole you just left. Please explain your choice. How would you know it wouldn't be a case of "out of the frying pan and into the fire"? Already did it. I went to Colombia, best decision I ever made. Here are 10 reasons but I could probably list 50. 1. Libertarian society. Do whatever you want. You can buy any med you want over the counter (antibiotics, narcotics, anything). 2. There are no laws. Pass over the double yellow line, no cop hiding in the bushes to pull you over. No cops in general, really. If you do find yourself talking to one, they'll try to diffuse and resolve, not treat you like a mass of meat. 3 It's CHEAP. You can easily live on $1000 per month. Some people live on half that and live just fine. 4. Land is plentiful and cheap. Go to Antioquia, you can buy acres of land in the mountains for nothing. 5. Temperature is the same all-year round. Up in the mountains of Antioquia, that means high of 78 and low of 60. Aside from the nice climate, that means fruits and vegetables grow all year round. It's always growing season! 6. It's way off the map. If there's a global war, economic breakdown, etc - you are far away from ground zero. No one cares about South America. 7. It's safe. But people who are mind controlled and watch TV (Narcos, for example) don't think it is, so it keeps the idiots away 8. If you're male and single, the most beautiful women on earth and they love American men 9. No blackouts, great infrastructure. I have fiberoptic internet in my mountain home. Because most energy is the result of hydroelectric power (lots and lots of rivers and waterfalls), you won't lose power, ever... 10. It's close to the US. If you decide to go back, even for a weekend, it's a 3 hour flight and about $300 via VivaColombia airlines Colombia? TRUMP 2020 Willam Barr 2024 |

Please explain your choice. How would you know it wouldn't be a case of "out of the frying pan and into the fire"? Why does your ip say Canada if you're in Kommiefornia? Exactly what part of Kommiefornia do you live? I started planning my escape from Kommiefornia about 6 yrs ago. Looked at many places throughout Latin America (Belize, Costa Rica and Panama), South America (Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina and Chile). However, most of my employment required travel throughout East and Southeast Asia (Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore and Manila). Out of all these, Philippines was the most affordable on a fixed income for retirement. In August 2015, my former employer offered me an early retirement option, which I gladly accepted. I initially had plans to bring my foreign spouse to the US. Instead, when I learned she was pregnant with my child, I chose to move to the Philippines. I live "out in the province" about 100 mi (160 km) North of Metro Manila in the middle of a large agricultural region. My spouse's family have many farms in area, we also live within a 30 min drive or half day's walking distance of Ft. Magsaysay. This is also a strategic location in the event the SHTF scenario. We can get on base, I also have contacts with the 82nd Airborne and SPECOP's on TDY as military advisers. Same ones I used to test and train use on C4I systems. Since both me and my son are US citizens, my foreigner spouse (refugee status) can get 'Space A' evac on C-130 or other transport to safe location. Another is that we can survive on any of my spouses family farms. Along with rest of area, they are good bug out locations well away from population centers and the ability to defend with neighbors. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78302339 Probably as an American the easiest would be to escape to one of those bahama territories that are part of USA, or Hawaii - otherwise you'd have to go through the whole immigration process or risk being an illegal alien and deported Where there is a will there is a way. Also, where there is money. Yes, but you'd need to go to a Caucasian country, else the locals will take you out pretty quickly in a collapse of society.. In the same way that in a collapse, lots and lots of immigrant looking folk will get murdered for no reason in USA, right? You know it's true! This 100%. Anyone thinking about going anywhere where the people don't look like you... God have mercy on your soul... Read the horror stories of Costa Rica (just one example I hear ALL THE TIME) and tell me if you think that's the kind of place you'd want to be if their government ever collapsed or there were massive global interruptions. Been in Costa Rica ten years. The people here love me. You must act like an asshole where ever you go and nobody likes an asshole. Pura Vida |

She died before I was born. Quoting: Builder of the Adytum She worked in a chocolate factory in Detroit. She was my dad's favorite grandma. He probably got a lot of free chocolate! that's interesting. there's a lot of great chocolate here... actually, it kind of happened by accident. but after finding out how great things are here compared to so many other places in the world, i realized that i just accidentally hit the lottery. i realize there are no 100% certainties, but things have been pretty good here for the many, many years i've been here. at the same time, i've seen my family and friends in the states succumb to more and more problems. it's sad, and scary to witness, and i don't think i would have seen it as clearly if i wasn't looking from the outside in, if that makes any sense. with that said, i still love my homeland USA and root for trump to continue to turn things around. Hope you're getting paid in local currency my friend. I had a fabulous time in Gryon at Christmas what an amazing country. Until the way home and I said to the Mrs, "oh let's just eat at Burger King" on our way home at Geneva train station..... Two Whoppers and fries and two cokes : £34 Ouch! |

Bulgaria is one of the oldest countries in Europe, 1300 years old. Been trough many financial and military “interruptions”. Small is not aways bad. You can buy land and be independent. The mountainous terrain is not good for military action, the soil is very rich on the other hand. Lots of water. You can buy a whole village there for yourself lol For example Plovdiv is one of the oldest continuously occupied cities in the world, 8000 years old or so... still there, better then ever. |
