Just saying even some mainstream sources are pointing towards the lab/possibility of a leak (or perhaps intentional). If you want to get the bug you get it first before the global economy and shit goes to the fan. |

They shut down they will protect their own. There is no interest in helping the US at this point. We run out of critical meds and supplies way more people die... That adds to this strategy |

Cohn’s words highlight a security concern associated with pharmaceuticals from China. As Rosemary Gibson noted in her testimony, centralization of the global supply chain of medicines in a single country makes it vulnerable to interruption, “whether by mistake or design.” If we are dependent on China for thousands of ingredients and raw materials to make our medicine, China could use this dependence as a weapon against us. While the Department of Defense only purchases a small quantity of finished pharmaceuticals from China, about 80 percent of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) used to make drugs in the United States are said to come from China and other countries like India. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77557372 I have long suspected biological warfare as means to gain control. Outbreak starts in Wuhan, home to the BSL-4 lab which houses such nasty viruses, but also home to the scientists and military personnel working with these agents. Perhaps even developing a cute way ahead of the rest of the world. Recently China stopped sharing important genetic information on H7N9, but likely others as well. They start the outbreak there...cull the herd...which we know they want. Shut everything down, no one in no one out. No valid information is leaked as media and other sources are blocked and those who step out of line get arrested or worse. They developed the virus and know it better than anyone. They shut everything down and take the short term economic and population losses.. Meanwhile, the rest of the world scrambled to find a cure as governments do the same thing to attempt to downplay the reality....until it’s too late. Mass death occurs all over but China recovers first...They may even eventually share the cure. At which time they have weathered the storm better than anyone else and are now in a position to take over everything. Sounds like an interesting theory eh? [link to gnews.org (secure)] |

There is no hiding they want to decrease population...they also want to take over the US. Sacrificing millions of Chinese and then having the ability to treat infections well before other nations especially the US means they may come out on top. Again our reliance on Medicines and operating supplies will soon be cut off. They will likely “go dark” soon and we won’t know what is happening there. The virus has a relatively long incubation period where the infected are contagious even before initial symptoms. What this means given the Ro values is that the US and most of the world have infected all over and it will only be a few days before the CDC and the government can keep that under wraps... When government, including trump say there is nothing to worry about and all is well...Expect the opposite. They want to delay as long as possible. This however is impossible to hide. By midweek we will be in freak out mode. Most people only see the fake figures of infection/death which are mainly due to Chinese coverups. These numbers always lag behind the actual total significantly. If you haven’t yet...go tomorrow!!! Get your preps/plans in order. The masses have no clue and believe the government will keep us safe.... We are on our own |

It is the ultimate plan. If revealed that it was an intentional leak then it may be even worse resulting in WW3. Might be better to go out with a flash than suffer total collapse even when prepared. |

Nov 16, 2015 JEF AKST MERS coronavirus FLICKR, NIAID Ralph Baric, an infectious-disease researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, last week (November 9) published a study on his team’s efforts to engineer a virus with the surface protein of the SHC014 coronavirus, found in horseshoe bats in China, and the backbone of to one that causes human-like severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in mice. The hybrid virus could infect human airway cells and caused disease in mice, according to the team’s results, which were published in Nature Medicine. The results demonstrate the ability of the SHC014 surface protein to bind and infect human cells, validating concerns that this virus—or other coronaviruses found in bat species—may be capable of making the leap to people without first evolving in an intermediate host, Nature reported. They also reignite a debate about whether that information justifies the risk of such work, known as gain-of-function research. “If the [new] virus escaped, nobody could predict the trajectory,” Simon Wain-Hobson, a virologist at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, told Nature. In October 2013, the US government put a stop to all federal funding for gain-of-function studies, with particular concern rising about influenza, SARS, and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). “NIH [National Institutes of Health] has funded such studies because they help define the fundamental nature of human-pathogen interactions, enable the assessment of the pandemic potential of emerging infectious agents, and inform public health and preparedness efforts,” NIH Director Francis Collins said in a statement at the time. “These studies, however, also entail biosafety and biosecurity risks, which need to be understood better.” Baric’s study on the SHC014-chimeric coronavirus began before the moratorium was announced, and the NIH allowed it to proceed during a review process, which eventually led to the conclusion that the work did not fall under the new restrictions, Baric told Nature. But some researchers, like Wain-Hobson, disagree with that decision. The debate comes down to how informative the results are. “The only impact of this work is the creation, in a lab, of a new, non-natural risk,” Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist and biodefence expert at Rutgers University, told Nature. But Baric and others argued the study’s importance. “[The results] move this virus from a candidate emerging pathogen to a clear and present danger,” Peter Daszak, president of the EcoHealth Alliance, which samples viruses from animals and people in emerging-diseases hotspots across the globe, told Nature. |
