I don't think so on this one. Helicopters are dangerous to begin with.



They basically hit a mountain at 200mph because the pilot got overconfident having flown the route so many times.


The pilot could have lifted above the cloud bank but would have had to request clearence and their may have been some time pressure with Kobe's schedule also.
