I thought he knew his pilot and had used him for years and even requested him??
Quoting: BawlmerRN Cowboy outfit, cowboy pilot; what's not to like... Until the chips are down. He could have afforded chartering a newer helicopter and two current, professionally certified VFR pilots, but that would have cost, and they would have taken an appropriate route avoiding the many unnecessary risks.
