The Caspian Airlines aircraft, which skidded off the runway and landed in the middle of the streets, was reportedly arriving from Tehran. There have been no reported injuries. I happen to have a contact in Tehran who is a manager and captain for Caspian Airlines. The national carrier will ground aged aircraft who have gone up to their life cycles.. Private airlines will keep them flying until they break. Even they want to buy new aircraft, they can't due to sanctions.  I came. I saw. I Concorde.
