Re: Spanish Flu: a warning from history
this was bout the time that aspirin was beginning to be mass produced. That helped to increase the death rate significantly.. within a few years, a natural "herd immunity" develops to these new strains, so these viral pandemics spike quickly, then dissipate rather quickly as well.

The 1918 flu virus started in Spain. (Hence The Spanish Flu) Many thought in the start phase (similar to what we thought about this coronavirus), that it was only effecting Spanish people and no one was that concerned.

Re: Spanish Flu: a warning from history
Studies comparing hospitals and doctors against others such as homeopaths treating Spanish flu mortality have shown that the former proscribed ASPirin and the latter did not - and most of the deaths were from the former group

Very important when realising the etymology of Coronavirus - corona (crown) and virus (venom of a snake)

"Asp" is the modern Anglicisation of the word "aspis," which in antiquity referred to any one of several venomous snake species found in the Nile region. The specific epithet, aspis, is a Greek word that means "viper."

Re: Spanish Flu: a warning from history
Many have asked that since this Coronavirus appears to have caught everyone’s attention with the turn in the ECM on January 18th, 2020, the questions have poured in asking if this was a major event given our model had been projecting a rise in disease would begin in 2020 coinciding with the new Solar Cycle which should be the lowest in probably 200 years+ meaning colder weather. There is certainly an interesting correlation that we should not ignore. This at the very least warrants a review of the Spanish Flu which killed millions back in 1918... READ MORE:

This man, Martin Armstrong had predicted 18 Jan to be a turn date. Anyway, it is a cycles thing. Not about a virus or one stock, or politics in general, but everything as a whole.

More synthetic pharmaceuticals. The populace is no doubt already rushing out to buy over the counter products not knowing the history of the Spanish flu and which group had all the mortality.

CDC: "take pain and fever medications (Caution: do not give Aspirin to children)"

Same advice as in the Spanish flu outbreak which rarely if ever killed children because the advice then was not to prescribe it to children.

At around the 9 minute mark they explain how the Spanish Flu infected virtually EVERY part of the world! Even remote eskimo villages and what have you.

God be with us. This virus will get everywhere. And in no time flat with the modern transportation we have today, compared to 1918.

Who died in the Spanish flu?

How about educating people to avoid what caused the deaths during that contagious flu????

Not trying to scare you or anybody. It's reality. Act or not. I'm stocking up. Not that I am certain it "will hit" us in Europe or the USA hard. BUT, if it does and based on facts of the past - we should be ready.
There are plenty of threads about what do get and do, like this one,

Watch the videos if you want help! They explain it all, very well. I know you're big on this aspirin point. Hopefully people will listen to your plea.

"the 1918 strain killed many people in their 20s and 30s, who mainly died from secondary bacterial infections, especially pneumonia."

Children were not given aspirin.
Older adults not accustomed to taking synthetic drugs, didn't take them.

Guess which group that left? The group that thought highly of science and its astounding scientific breakthroughs such as pharmacology and its synthetic aspirin.

Aspirin toxicity? dangerous build up of fluid in the lungs, salicylates increase lung fluid and protein levels and impair mucociliary clearance.

Wow, it said 50 to 100 million died. I always thought it was just 20 million. You know at least half of them were praying their little religioustard head off...didn't help did it. Some middle eastern goat herders write the old testament and we still have religioustards 1000's of years still worthlessly praying to the mythical god today.

They also didn't have modern washing methods and what have you. But you're right, many were misusing, over-dosing really, on aspirin -

Watching that video helps nobody.
The flu does not kill anybody - it makes you sicker than a dog for weeks, but it's the COMPLICATIONS that kill. Those COMPLICATIONS in the 1918 outbreak were caused by aspirin poisoning.

So which should you be concerned about?

The complications or what CAUSES THE COMPLICATIONS?

Clearly the Spanish could not be used to scare anyone this past century if the truth gets out.
