within 2 weeks of the start of this virus, i filed an alert to family. few if any listened. considering the GLP effect over the many years here, i do not know what triggered me to do that then. or what caused me to issue orders here to stockpile quickly so early on.within weeks, the GF was no longer driving to stores alone. water,masks,gloves,goggles and other items were stashed. as CHINA was buying and shipping PPE back home, we located out of the way stores to purchase better gear.

we have not seen family in over a year,since the holidays of 2019. my mom traveled with her sisters to VA. the GF's mom has continued to shop and visit restaraunts. we shake our heads. her mom drove to get pizza way back in spring. not realizing that the whole world was shut down.it never registered to her until she got there and the place was closed. even my sister who is a nurse has thought the virus to b a hoax.luckily for her she is employed in a private office not a nursing home.

so far, word is only 1 aunt has had covid and recovered. family on either side has not seen a death yet. several things that i said or we ,the GF and I,have thought in 2020 haunt us. it is eerie to know that u may never see your family again. that life as we knew it will never ever return. that what u can buy today might never be available again.

i know you all have told similar stories. you are not alone. few listened to our warnings. the sleepless nights will continue for us.our hope is that the govern can keep ppl calm and the lights on til spring. that whole statement is scarey.
