Quoting: sacklamb-actual since the beginning of social media the moon has turned blue red pink yellow and now is going in retrograde or something lmao Not that i dont believe you but the world has a shit track record of moon predictions lmao. I can post youtube videos on flat earth but doesn't make it truth. I dont disagree with anything you have said over the years but this ones a good one. Almost takes me back to doom of 2012 God you're a dumb fuck. My prediction will happen and you will see the moon follow that path on the SDO images next month. Mark my words. I expect an apology when I turn out to be right. I get the impression that you know your shit. And I acknowledge that you deal with a lot of BS, skepticism, nonsense, etc. keep in mind that to people who aren’t educated on this subject, things you take as rudimentary common knowledge will often not be in place. Claiming the moon will “reverse course” seems like skepticism would be justified, in particular without an easily digested plain English explanation. But it seems you do genuinely care about spreading knowledge and maybe reaching someone who would derive excitement from the cosmic events you discuss here. I know it may be hard, but a more polite approach would go a long way towards spreading knowledge in comparison to calling someone a Dumb fuck because they don’t agree or question you. If you enjoy starting fights with trolls, do what you want, but it seems counterintuitive towards spreading knowledge. Remember that we get dealt a solid amount of lies and propaganda from the mainstream media. I certainly wouldn’t consider NASA or SpaceX to be absolutely 100% trustworthy, infallible and completely above deceiving the public, especially NASA who relies on a certain amount of public approval and support to secure their MASSIVE funding. Hey dipshit, I predicted this, not NASA. I even called out NASA for failing to predict a partial expose caused by Earth's atmosphere which is opaque to the kind of extreme UV light SDO observes! Thread: If my prediction holds true, NASA is going to be wrong about March 2, 2019 As for SpaceX, they have nothing do with this and they are not faking or lying about their shit. If you think they're deceiving the public you're no better than the rest of the tards I debunk. |

User ID: 78413221 Germany 01/30/2020 01:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The solar dynamics observatory experiences eclipses of the sun caused by the moon that are not visible from Earth. Because of its orbital motion, some of these events also exhibit behavior that you would never see from the ground. I developed a bot to predict all future SDO eclipses by monitoring the orbital elements of the spacecraft and looking a few months out for any transits of objects in front of the sun. My bot predicts that on February 23rd the sun watching spacecraft will see the moon turn and reverse course during a partial eclipse. Though this is not something you would ever see in a regular eclipse on Earth, it's completely normal and predictable based on the orbital elements of the spacecraft and the moon. Quoting: Astroshill Years ago I was accused of leaving a trap for GLP'ers by predicting the first of these types of eclipses without making a big deal out of it, leading to a lot of people embarrassing themselves when they freaked out about it. Well now you can't say I didn't warn you, so when this happens next month don't blame me for your own mistakes. Also coming up in a few days, SDO will enter its next eclipse season where the Earth will block the sun for a period of time each day for several weeks. The full eclipse season is now predicted and shown on my Annotated SDO channel on YouTube. y Isn't this normal? I remember, moon goes from West to east some parts of the year. Other parts, west to east. Certain sect of Indians consider one of that part to be auspicious and plan family events only that parts of the year. I think you are confusing this with the shadow planets Rahu, the dragon's head (ascending lunar node), and Ketu, the dragon's tail (descending lunar node) from the Vedic astrology. They move always retrograde. . :ase26122019: Annular Solar Eclipse - December 26, 2019 - Kannur, Kerala, India |

Oh really dipshit? Then by all means, show where I'm bullshitting. Go on, show the proof. Sadly you already lost the argument, resorting to namecalling, look who's all high and mighty and cannot be questioned now that he's supposedly Mr NA$A? anyway, no moon retrograde, perhaps seen as such buy a orbiting observer traveling faster than the earth's rotation, but it's all silliness anyway, right? like driving along a highway seeing an airliner hover during landing for 10 minutes. All that plus $1 will buy you a cup of coffee. |

If you think they're deceiving the public you're no better than the rest of the tards I debunk. so the ignominious NASA has failings??? perish the thought lol i gotta say the new footage of the sun released yesterday was impressive!! |

Quoting: Éireann I have never heard of it doing that until this thread. Thanks, Astro! There is no such thing as any celestial object "reversing course". It is just a trick of perspective. I know that. I was just surprised that there was a perspective that would cause the moon to go retrograde as it isn't visible from Earth. So.... everything can retrograde anytime anywhere if the focal point is from the right place looking at the right place? Right? I see why some may be confused |

Such total b.s. Apparent retrograde motion is not BS. And in fact planets exhibit apparent retrograde motion all the time, because we're both orbiting the sun. In this case, both the moon and SDO are orbiting earth and the moon can exhibit apparent retrograde motion as seen from SDO. When the timing of that is right you get this kind of strange reversal during the eclipse as seen from SDO. |

I'm not asking anything, I already know why it will appear to reverse direction. Also note the future tense there, I'm predicting it BEFORE it happens. How did I do that? By understanding it so well that I was able to write a program to predict it. It's a natural consequence of SDO's orbit, it does not mean the moon is a "death star." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78268077 Canada 01/30/2020 04:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The solar dynamics observatory experiences eclipses of the sun caused by the moon that are not visible from Earth. Such a deceptively titled thread. It clearly implies that the moon will do something unusual, and that it will be visible from earth. No wonder you're being accused of leaving a trap. This is terrible communication at best, and deliberate deception at worst. they have a word for that, it's called trolling |
