My analysis of the ACE 2 situation and why ACE2 inhibitors may make the infection WORSE-- biologists-- please correct me if I am wrong!!

CAUTION ACE-2 inhibitors may make the Wuhan coronavirus infection WORSE!!!

"ACE inhibitors (i.e. blood pressure drugs) prevent an enzyme in your body from producing Angiotensin II, a substance that narrows your blood vessels."

So by taking an Ace 2 inhibitor to lower your blood pressure-- you might make a Coronavirus infection WORSE!!!

Why?

Because ACE-2 is a "key" that fits into a "keyhole" on the body's cells.

When this ACE-2 "key" is inhibited by an angiotensin2 inhibitor drug-- it leaves a lot of the body's keyholes vacant just waiting to be FILLED.

Here's where things get deadly: the ACE-2 "key" is apparently IDENTICAL to the outside of the Wuhan Corona virus, which is also a "key" that fits into the keyholes of our body's cells.

So, if we inhibit our own ACE2 "keys" to lower our blood pressure-- many of our keyholes will be empty, awaiting the Wuhan virus keys--- which are identical to ACE2.


The wuhan virus is identical to the ACE2 key-- and it fits into the keyhole.

So-- flooding the body with ACE2 would be a means of sopping up the virus-- NOT inhibiting ACE2.
