Shabat Shalom : This Shabat Parashat Bo : The last three plagues are sent over Egypt

The last three plagues are sent over Egypt: lobsters devour all crops and vegetables; a tangible darkness envelops the earth; and all the firstborn of Egypt are eliminated midnight on the 15th of Nisan.

Gd sends to deliver the first Mitzva (precept) to Israel: establish a calendar based on the monthly lunar cycle. The Israelites are also instructed to offer a “Passover sacrifice” to Gd: a lamb that should be slaughtered and some of his blood should be sprinkled on the door jambs of each Israelite house, so that Gd I skipped them when I came to kill the firstborn Egyptians. The roast meat of the offering was to be eaten that same night along with matzah (unleavened bread) and bitter herbs.
