I've never instigated a conversation about the EU, it's usually been a remoaner. So I asked them questions about various aspects of the EU and they had absolutely no idea. They were totally ignorant despite the fact that they may have a bunch of letters after their names.

As for the BBC, if there was only one channel and it was the BBC anybody would be forgiven for thinking that the UK hardly has any white people in it, from news to soaps there is a disproportionate inclusion of BME featured.
