Are the majority of Prisons becoming Prisons for Profit? The more people have in their prisons, the more profitable they are, at least that's what I read somewhere.
What do you think on that subject?

The private prison lobby,lobby congress for longer drug sentences.The private prisons are much more unsafe for inmates and officers. I knew guys that worked in some private prisons. The wages are low. The amount of crooked cops is higher because the wages are so low you get crooked cops trying to make more money by bringing in cell phones and drugs. The private prison industry is trying to expand. Yup. Anyway the rich can get richer, they will. And the poor get poorer, scooped up on lesser charges just to feed the machine. I can't remember the names, but there are celebrities investing in these prisons. I think they have shares to buy and sell on the Markets. I could be wrong on that part, though.
