Thanks for the information.

Posting in thread so I can refer to it when prepping for that time this year when I'm feeling like I'm about to die.

do not take aspirin, tylenol or any anti pyretic. you want a fever to fight the virus. everyone who took aspirin during the 1918 flu died!

GLP Doctors == Tards Helping Tards Get Worse

Don't get medical advice from the same community that blows everything out of proportion.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78033056

GLP doctors are much cheaper and provide better service than the Mentally Deficient(MDs) that inhabit the medical establishment. Ultimately, you're totally responsible for your own health and choices, no matter how you might try to delegate it.

NSAIDS are essential for your home medical kit. They may not be indicated in some kinds of flu, but having them available is important.

I'm so overwhelmed.

I thought there was no cytokine storm, or very few?

where/how do you use essential oils?

thanks for all the advice. I figured we would all get good ideas here.

*my list is just that, things I have in my prep stash. I'm not giving anyone medical advice. I'm just a dumb ex jailer.

I've got so much research to do tomorrow at work. I really hope work doesn't get in the way of this, lol
ill also have to find a way to blow off the other gals for lunch so I can run to cvs.

TY but I'm extremely allergic to Benadryl any alternatives ..?
 Quoting: beenthruthat

Very good question:

Here's a list of 1st Gen and 2nd Gen H1 Antagonists:

1st Gen (Potential for sedation, *=Also used to treat motion sickness):
Brompheniramine (Bromphen, Dimetap)
Chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton)
Clemastine (Tavist)
Cyclizine*
Diphenhydramine* (Benadryl)
Dimenhydrinate* (Dramamine, Sominex)
Doxepin (Sinequan Rx)
Doxylamine
Hydroxyzine* (Atarax, Vistaril Rx)
Meclizine* (Antivert)
Promethazine (Phenergan Rx)

2nd Gen (Non/weak sedating):
Acrivastine
Cetirizine (Zyrtec)
Desloratadine (Clarinex Rx)
Fexofanadine (Allegra)
Levocetirizine (Xyzal Rx)
Loratadine (Claritin)

Some people find either 1st gen or 2nd gen work better for them. For me, 2nd gen does almost nothing.

High concentrations of cytokines were recorded in plasma of critically ill patients infected with 2019-nCoV.
Implications of all the available evidence
2019-nCoV caused clusters of fatal pneumonia with clinical presentation greatly resembling SARS-CoV. Patients infected with 2019-nCoV might develop acute respiratory distress syndrome, have a high likelihood of admission to intensive care, and might die. The cytokine storm could be associated with disease severity. More efforts should be made to know the whole spectrum and pathophysiology of the new disease. [link to www.thelancet.com (secure)]

You can take oil of oregano to prevent or when you first start getting a bug. Its strong, so google for doseafe recommendations. It's an antiviral and it's good getting to work on lung congestion. Keep some on hand. I think lemon juice to help make your system more alkaline too is a good idea- viruses dont like an alkaline environment. Also reading up on sage- not sure yet. But it may help also- with hiv.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78195643

In reference to th alkaline environment....

Have you noticed lately that Walmart has started selling Alkaline water. Well, if they sold it before this month I never saw it at any of their local stores but now I am seeing it in all their stores. The level is 9.5 to 10.5 alkline water. I bought some....tastes good.

I think there is a reason that all of a sudden Alkaline water is now a big thing.

I also found a local store that specializes in selling Alkaline water.

I just thought the timing was interesting.

Stop drinking all soda's, alcohol, coffee, tea and caffeine as this makes for an acid environment.....along with sugar.

There are videos that explain that pill Vitamin C is just Ascorbic Acid and is not actual natural Vitamin C which is a complex of other things tied to it.

It would be better to eat citrus fruit to keep the Vitamin C complex high I assume.

I just wonder how much a day?

One lemon or orange a day? Ten lemons and oranges a day?

By the way my roommate was sick for more than week lying on the couch with apparent pneumonia and within 24 hours of taking a commercial mega-dose Vitamin C tablet my roomate was sitting up and chatting and immediately recovered. I was one day from taking her to the hospital.

We are lucky there are still supplies

Hydrogen Peroxide and white vinegar...get the gallon size of vinegar, a spray bottle, kills 99.9% germs and is inexpensive

The above is good if power goes out, for use with power consider a UV light box or bulbs or air cleaner, UV light kills virus.

Iodine...there are many forms...lugol’s 5% solution kills bacteria, virus and fungus, there are ointments and large sizes...provodine etc for livestock, great stuff and a necessary nutrient

Oregano oil

Make fire cider

Lots of paper towels, wipes, TP etc.

Baking soda

Borax

MMS

Bulk C

50,000iu D3

Oxygen

IV fluid

Good sea salt for nasal rinse

Learn how to safely use any home remedy and print out now, so if power or internet goes out you have safe instructions on hand

For instance, you can not look at a UV light, it damages the eyes

Certain things should not be taken at same time like C and iodine

Antacids like baking soda should be taken on an empty stomach and other things like D3 should be taken with food

Might be good to have a digital thermometer, and something to monitor blood pressure

Garlic, fresh and pills

Learn how to safely fast, learn to make electrolyte water, you need baking soda and sea salt and potassium, you can buy bulk or the salt substitutes like No Salt are potassium

A good recipe is snake juice, don’t be put off it works. Just sea salt, baking soda and potassium in jug of water, about a teaspoon of each.

I am currently working on a anti corona suppository.
I am taking everything I have have read in all the posts and adding it together.
The only issue I’m running into is the size.
Gen 3 is currently down to the size of a softball.
I will come to market once I get close to the size of a fist.

The HIV genes that are spliced into the nCoV is there to suppress white blood cells and the immune system. Therefore, your asymptomatic and able to spread the disease before actual symptoms show up. Symptoms occur as secondary infections which include pneumonia. The body tries to fight back and this is what causes the cytokine storm...

Take calcium carbonate for stomach acid - sodium bicarbonate can cause mineral loss in bones and teeth. Tums, etc.

Electroylte water in case of dehydration, I get it from the baby section in the dollar store or wally world.

Asprin and codiene for pain killers depending on severity.

Ginger for nausea or any gastro intestinal problem - taking it raw is most effective and you only need a small amount. Ginger is also good for anxiety.

Milk thistle - potent liver tonic.

Rubbing alcohol - a good basic disinfectant.

Chlorine bleach - a very cheap disinfectant, just never mix with other cleaners.

Hydrogen peroxide - good for cauterizing any cuts or scrapes.

Bandaids and gauze.

Good surgical steel tweezers and small scissors.

Wrap bandages for sprains.

Valerian - a good sleeping aid, calming agent.

Fish antibiotics are a good source if you cannot get to the doctor for a script.

Garlic as a blood cleanser, anti fungal properties.

Peppermint oil, geranium oil - kills biting insects

Clove oil - for bug bites, toothache, minor infections, topical anesthetic

Orajel -topical anesthetic for cankers, minor to moderate skin burns, stings, etc.

Lemon & honey - for sore throats, cold prevention

Chili pepper - has high amounts of vitamin C, antibacterial properties

Boil all drinking water, rainwater and dehumidifier water can be used if boiled - a rolling boil - first.

Vinegar - cheap cleaning solution. With baking soda, use to unclog drains. Pour down baking soda, then the vinegar. Repeat a couple of times when the foaming stops. After ten minutes, pour down a pot of boiling water.
