Anonymous Coward User ID: 77575691 Canada 02/03/2020 12:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | wow...I didn't even read 1/2 of thr threads and there are so many things who are SO FUCKING WRONG from people suggesing aspirin containing drugs and natural remedies to control fever!!! This is how the virus spread deep into the lungs. Fever is the only sure thing that is killing the virus. You should never take anything for fever except when reaches 40 degrees celsius for extended time. At 39 you can start to keep the head colder to prevent damages to the brain. Actually you want heat your body. Take a hot or bath. A sauna/infrared is even better. Cover yourself with heavy blankets and sweat. Drink fluids with salts. Breath fresh air from 10 to 15 degrees (this create nitric oxyde) Rinse and repeat: take another shower, change, go back to bed. you can beat a flu in this way in 3 hours. THE ONLY THINGS YOU HAVE TO KEEP ON CHECK ARE HYDRATATION (solution or good marine salt, potassium, magnesium, vit c), HIGH TEMPERATURE WITH A COLD PATCH,!!! AND AVOID THE CYTOKINE STORM!!! to address the cytokine storm you must 1# understand what it is: an abnormal over reaction of the immube system with body flush, diarrhea, heavy breathing with lot of mucus, shivers, hearth palpitation and high BP, it's basically an alkergic reaction: avoid anything encouraging it like breathing free ozone (you can breath a little trough oil bubbling, can drink some ozoned water or take ozoned oil, take rectal infusions of ozone) or breathing essential oils you could be allergic too, and any immune system stimulant like sambucol/edelberry echinacea etc IF YOU HAVE NOT ACTUALLY LOW IMMUNE SYSTEM. if you are producing lot of mucus your immune system is working and you just need to be sure it doesn't over react creating the cytokine storm. you must keep your lungs relaxed to let mucus flow. if mucus is thick use acetylcysteine/garlic/lysine. Mechanically help the removal by laying down on your belly with legs and head kept higher with some pillows.Rinse with saline. If the mucus is liquid and frothing then you should take ACE2 inhibitors like ginger, yohimbe, and H1 blockers and either the H2 blockers or PPI as mentioned in the thread. if breathing become difficult breath oxygen: use diluited hydrogen peroxid at 3% in a humidifier or aerosol and deep breath. if nothing works then you need mechanical breathing support. there are many things you can do, just avoid huge mistakes and focus on prevention and limiting virus replication. |

Also tea bags can be used to draw infections from cuts also tooth abscesses, just run hot water over bag to dampen and apply to area, might need to repeat several times. Epsom salts, good for a lot of things can also be applied with towel or cloth for aching joints etc. Hey what can I say, we grew up poor! would rather have it & not need it then need it & not have it |

I have asthma, not too serious, but very serious around allergy triggers so I carry inhalers. Due to planning I have sufficient inhalers for a bugout bag but — At one point I bought small liquid sachets of a type of generic Primatene from the U.S. when I was worried about stock supply in the UK. I don’t have a Nebulizer and I’m not going to get one before the SHTF. They’re sterile tiny plastic sachets of Racepinephrine (a bronchodilator), each sachet is 0.5 ml and contains 11.25 mg Racepineprine Are these liquid sachets useful in any way? Should I take them with me? Could I use them for example in a inhalation over boiled water with a towel over my head if I needed to? If anyone could weigh in that would be great. Brand name Asthmanefrin. As said I’m not taking a nebuliser with me, just wanna know if these would be useful somehow in a camping situation in the case of an asthma attack. Actually your advice about no zinc is incorrect: There are studies that show that zine is an immune regulator that can prevent cytokine storm: Here is a good article that explains how zinc keeps the immune system in check and protects against cytokine inflammation storm. [link to www.bbc.com (secure)] Researchers say they have gained a key insight into how zinc helps the immune system fight infection. A study shows that zinc stops the immune system from spiralling out of control, as happens when people develop sepsis. After previous studies in mice, the researchers from Ohio State University had shown that zinc-deficiency could lead to excessive inflammation. This is what happens in sepsis, when in response to a severe infection, the body goes into overdrive, with potentially fatal consequences. Feedback loop Through further experiments in human cells and animal studies the researchers found that a protein called NF-kB lured zinc into the immune cells that responded fastest to fight infection. Once inside, the zinc then put the brakes on further activity in the NF-kB pathway, slowing down the immune response and limiting the amount of inflammation, the study, in Cell Reports, indicated. It was effectively a feedback loop, stopping the process getting out of hand, the researchers said. Study leader, Dr Daren Knoell, said: "The immune system has to work under very strict balance, and this is a classic example of where more is not always better. "We want a robust inflammatory response, which is part of our natural programming to defend us against a bug. "But if that is unchecked, and there is too much inflammation, then it not only attacks the pathogen but can also cause much more collateral damage." "The implications of the work extend beyond the impact of zinc on innate immune function," he said. |
