ok so it would be easier to get a drone half the distance to the plane with some sort of high zoom telescope camera attached to it that can zoom way in and still be clear in focus to get the taping done

You would need a vehicle that could go at least 300 mph and it would need camera that sent a video back to you to navigate by. BTW, your whole plan is against the law, so there's that. Right now you are only allowed to go 400 feet above ground level. You are only allowed to fly by direct sight. Bring one to altitude with a balloon and then release to fly. Although, I doubt the transmitter range is that long. oops
