Don't confuse a "political system" with the human persons who thrive or suffer under it...this is all tied up with the emotion many of us are experiencing with the Pandemic.  Empathy TEST...save Chinese...save Mexicans... save the Chihuahuas...save humanity? I mean if we can't find compassion for the people of China caught up in this Pandemic (but we'd save a Chihuahua) then we need to examine closely our spiritual foundations. I have seen some GLP members "shamed" on some of the threads for saying they wept at the images coming out of China... calling them "pussy" and such heartless comments. I find this really remarkable...maybe it is just all the violence programming with T.V. and films that some of us have been desensitized to basic compassion...I don't know. Just thought I would mention this as I haven't seen anyone comment on "compassion"--and the varying degrees in the responses regarding EMPATHY for the Chinese people. Just a thought.
