Someone previously posted info about Vitamin C IV potentially being a viable treatment for Covid_19 Clinical trials underway exactly as mentioned here. We really have se brilliant minds here on GLP Here's the link to clinical trials: [ link to clinicaltrials.gov (secure)] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78453053 "We hypothize that Vitamin C infusion can help improve the prognosis of patients with SARI. Therefore, it is necessary to study the clinical efficacy and safety of vitamin C for the clinical management of SARI through randomized controlled trials during the current epidemic of SARI."Of course, it's not KungFlu, but I had a successful trial of megadose Vit C treating my daughter's strep throat this past week. She complained of a sore throat Saturday morning and we treated it with 500mg of Vit C every hour over the course of the day and it disappeared by that night. My wife caught it and we're doing the same thing today. It started, for her, at about 3:00 this morning, and after two doses of 1000mg, she's already feeling better. Quoting: Deplorable Revbo™ No digestive issues aka diarrhea with such a high dose? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78453053 Not a bit. I researched it a little a few days ago, and saw that most people can tolerate 20-40 grams a day (and some more than that) when sick without developing diarrhea. My daughter, all told, probably got 5 or 6 grams on Saturday, and my wife will probably be in the 10-15 gram range today.
