Someone previously posted info about Vitamin C IV potentially being a viable treatment for Covid_19 Clinical trials underway exactly as mentioned here. We really have se brilliant minds here on GLP Here's the link to clinical trials: [ link to clinicaltrials.gov (secure)] Of course, it's not KungFlu, but I had a successful trial of megadose Vit C treating my daughter's strep throat this past week. She complained of a sore throat Saturday morning and we treated it with 500mg of Vit C every hour over the course of the day and it disappeared by that night. My wife caught it and we're doing the same thing today. It started, for her, at about 3:00 this morning, and after two doses of 1000mg, she's already feeling better. I was just telling my daughter last night about how awesome vitamin C is, and how I always pump it in when I start getting sick - how it helps not only avoid getting sick, but actually fights illness. My aunt always had a big bottle of those chewable tablets, and I swear that woman never got sick. My daughter has been getting sick a lot lately, so I thought about ordering some. This post seals the deal - I'm ordering a bottle now and am going to start taking it daily, and more importantly, have her start taking it. Good info!  Make certain to get real Vitamin C...not Ascorbic Acid (the outter shell of VitC). The key to VitC is the bioavailable copper in the center...not the shell. So, get the real whole food deal....not some lab made atrocity. Thanks for the tip. I've already ordered it, but can easily return it if it's not the real deal. I saw the last post too about the military command prepping for a pandemic response. I just don't know what to think about all this. I go through phases - one day, I think we could be in real trouble, the next, I think it might be overblown. I guess I've been through so many false "dooms"... Of course maybe it's like I said a while back - the seemingly slow pace at which it's approaching could belie the danger it might ultimately pose.
