I heard on WLS-AM (Chicago) today that the wife and husband were sent home from the hospital for home treatment. The CDC recommended it. They never said they were cured.

I watched the full hour of that boring ass press conference.

I think the headline is a bit deceiving here.

They did NOT say it would be here in 2-4 weeks.

No matter how they try to dance around that, its going to become common knowledge.
They may be able to fashion a reason for the public to swallow, but china, russia, their allies know.

For one thing its getting obvious the media has been instructed to not let on that its only asians dying of it.

Nothing really to worry about unless you are of Chinese genetic stock. The Coronavirus is clearly a manufactured virus that targets the Chinese genome. And the proof of this is that not one person of non-Chinese genetic stock who has contracted this virus has died. Only those of Chinese genetic stock are dying the horrible deaths. So the question then becomes: was it a Chinese experiment gone wrong or is it a bioweapon introduced into China by the same wonderful human beings who brought us the Weapons of Mass Destruction Lies about Iraq, 9/11, Arab Spring, Maidan, Syrian Rebels and who are currently engaged in a "maximum pressure" campaign against China, Venezuela, Syria and Russia and any other country that does not prostrate itself before the Petro-Dollar. China is too busy trying to contain the virus to be concerned with retaliation at this point, but knowing the Chinese, they will retaliate in kind. Just to extend a bit what the Secretary mentioned - it is true, I mean, health officials, my self included, have said in the past that travel restriction are not going to stop completely when you have an outbreak that is a true pandemic.

But I think most health officials agree that at best it delays, and as the Secretary says, kind of pauses things. And that's really the reason in the underlying rationale why that was done.

I mean, if there is - and I hope it doesn't happen - a broad pandemic throughout the world, travel restrictions are not going to help. You can't just travel restrict everyone.

But I think many public health officials would agree, that although it's not perfect, that it will stop - it could delay - and what we needed was a delay to essentially prepare better, but also to get a better feel of where this is going.

The negative - collateral - negative components people say is you incite panic in a country or you have difficulties with resources getting in and out.

Thus, far there's been no panic in the country and there has been no inhibition of the kind of resources that we need.

So the kinds of collateral damage that you're concerned about have not occurred. This is the temporary thing we're not talking about something that's permanent.

So we recognize the potential negatives of it, but this decision was not made lightly - was made after much consideration of examining all of the aspects.
