Live everyday like it's your last. And all the crap you've accumulated means nothing once you're gone. Remember...many have gone before you and many will be right behind you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76376503

When my father-in-law died 20+ years ago every thing he had in his very small home went into a dumpster except for some family photo's.

I'm sure the same thing will happen to me and you someday!
 Quoting: geerod

Oh man, I forgot about all the bins in the basement with photos. 5 kids before the digital age. I meant to sort through them one of these years and divide them into 5 piles. Maybe I'll get on that, need to anyway.

Thanks for all the thoughtful replies. Praying every day for mercy on us all.

Re: Could we please talk about preparing to die?
I am not afraid, I know Jesus Christ.

But I am 65 and I get virally induced asthma, which means with colds in the past I had to go on prednisone pills. Haven't had a cold in maybe 7 years since I went off gluten, and haven't had the flu since 1982, but this CV sounds really bad. I think my lungs will shut down if I get it. Yes I have the garlic and sambucol and vits D and C, etc, but I still think I could get it.

Hub and I have a will, and I wrote up a list of personal things for the kids. Our after death arrangements are in the will.

So is that it? Is there anything else you should do if you kinda think you might die from this virus? Just tell everybody you love, how much you love them, in the next month?

Any ideas let me know!

My lungs are a tad fragile too. But even if Im on life support, I plan to recover. Wouldn't be the first time having sepsis so If I survived it once I can do it again.

I'd go to your Dr, bring up your history, tell him you recently had a cold and could have used an inhaler/nebulizer. Ask for a script to have on hand in case u get sick again. Then fill it.

Re: Could we please talk about preparing to die?
Coronavirus is as real as 4 airliners crashing on 9/11 2001 or the following pandemic alerts (from avian/swine flu to ZIKA) and US mass shootings that started to make headlines 10 years later.
Coronavirus hoax is meant to reduce the world's population to 500 million.
Auschwitz [_ _ _ _ ERS] and Coronavirus: the link beyond 75 years and the increase by a factor of 1000+ is [SYRI _ _ _ S].

Try to solve the riddle before the additional hint below and checking the answer here:
[link to www.godlikeproductions.com]

Now the question is: what made this possible?
Hint: the bigger the lie the more people will believe it.
What was pushed to the utter limits already in 1998, when it was celebrated by the iluminati with a movie, "the _ _ _MAN X", where:
1. _ _ _MAN stands for the human cattle around the globe;
2. CHRISTopher, in the the director role, stands for the Illuminati Grand Master.
3. X is a 4 characters word which coincidentally solves the first riddle.

Re: Could we please talk about preparing to die?
A will needs to be probated by a court with an attorney in many states. This takes time and bills will need to be paid in the during this time.

My suggestions which is not legal advice but for entertainment only.

Use POD (Payable On Death) on your bank accounts.
Go into your banks & have that added to the signature cards.
Upon passing, your heirs would only need death certificate & the account is given to them.

Have named BENEFICIARY for your IRA accounts. Again, with a death certificate account will be transferred. IRA's are tricky about withdrawing money, 5 year rule or using heir with the youngest birthday. Look into these rules for your heirs.

For your home, have the home titled in the trust.
Then taken out of the trust & left to whomever.
Again, this is private & needs no probate.
Although, drawing up the trust either needs an attorney or a good online TRUST KIT.

Or have the home titled with RIGHTS OF SURVIVORSHIP if allowed in your state.
Seek professional advice on this one, as one would not want to TRIGGER TAX CONSEQUENCES.

Consider a safety deposit box with one trusted person or adult child with a list of accounts and where location & who the POD named. REMEMBER, if the safety deposit box does not have a living person named on it, then the box could be frozen and unable to get contents until will is probated.

To avoid fighting, have only one heir for each account.

Stock up a month's worth of everything you need so you don't have to leave the house. Get masks in case you do. We should all get right with ourselves and the creator. If we do that we might just get our shit together.

To increase your odds of survival, now would be a good time to get some masks and goggles from Amazon or Walmart.com
If nothing happens you will have them on hand for the next crisis ! Good luck ! hf

It's not something you have to prepare for.

Even complete novices and amateurs can accomplish it.

Prepare to be perfectly unprepared.

It sounds like you have your affairs in order, and that your children know your desires. Makes sure you have a good executor, and that is not always the oldest child. Let them know your wishes in writing as far as advanced directives go. Most importantly you know Christ, ask him daily for forgiveness, and salvation. If you stay home should the pandemic hit, I think you'll be OK. Best wishes.

Believing is good insurance. You only have one chance at doing the right thing. The greatest unforgiveable sin is denying god or turning your back on him. If you know your time is short be thankful. The Lord has given you some time. The thing that is a shame is the people that were taken suddenly and they never had a chance to prepare.

All good advice to avoid probate. Would only add many states now allow transfer on death deeds on real property that allow you to record this transfer deed at county and still can sell house or even record a revocation of the transfer later if change of heart. Check state law and lawyer as needed.
