No here is the recipe that will prevent or cure coronavirus.

Cinchona bark powder (quinine) 500 mg. twice daily

Angelica Archangelica root powder 500 mg. twice daily.

Rose Hips powder 500 mgs 4 times daily.

EGCG with Quercetin by Life extension foundation. 3 times daily.

Tinospora cordifolia 1 cap twice daily.

zinc 25 mgs daily

Everything on this list is clinically proven to kill viruses and stop cytokine storms

Save has antiviral, anti-hiv activity. Keeps the virus from entering the target cell.

Might be good to use as tea AND use it in a dry herb vaporizer. Would go straight to blood system and lung cells. Not the oil though, just the plant matter.

Re: A little Herb Summary vs COVID-19
For those unfamiliar with dry herb vaporizers, they heat the plant without combustion and you get all the essences of the plant material straight to lungs/blood system. Some people that use them for marijuana say that they get a stronger effect using the them, rather than smoking.

I have used this recipe for making THIEVES OIL for years.

After researching, it is the formula I believe to be most accurate.

4.0 x Clove oil

3.5 x Lemon oil

2.0 x Cinnamon oil

1.5 x Eucalyptus oil

1.0 x Rosemary oil

(x= parts, drops, units, oz, etc.)

I appreciate the thread.

If you've got a beagle and you need exercise... If you have the willpower let that girl run! If you have woods, keep up or you will lose your dog! Get exercise!

I did this the other day and found I needed to do more exercise. I did however not lose my dog. I'm only 35 though.

Or perhaps any dog?. Take your pets for walks in the backyard if you have to.

this is an awesome thread! I use a lot of what you have posted, I also see there are new plants and herbs for me to explore....
With so many pages, I have not gone through- I would just like to say that people should look at what is available in their area!
Me, I can get wild mushrooms, wild garlic, milkweed, dandelion, peppers (all kinds), onions, honey, multi herbs, etc.... I am in Kansas... I have many books on wild edibles and a few that have 'zones' of where things grow... most of these books also have the medicinal properties....

To me, it is best to know what you have in your local area and not just what you can find in the stores-- also, people should get to know there local herbal stores (not the pot stores but, natural foods and herbs), most of them have done extensive research on their products and carry organic raw herbs and such....

again thank you for this thread :)

Alright, so I have Covid, pretty severe and I am a young person of 26

Here is what helps me the most

1. tobacco - when I cannot breathe/find my lung capacity to be severely strained, I put some in a water pipe (a bong) or just burn it in a room and inhale the smoke

2. kratom - general painkiller, relieves other symptoms, some claim it has chloroquine, I dunno about that, but it certainly helps

3. raw egg - has to be both the whites and yolks together, drunk just like that, that helps the most, quick energy etc. look up Aajonus Vonderplanitz if you want to know more about that

Get Very high quality oils. I like the NOW brand,
but there are several good suppliers.

DO NOT use the cheap hobby oils for scents and candles.

No special method. I simply put the appropriate amounts
into 4 oz. dropper bottles. Easy Peasy.
All family members have a bottle as well as friends.

It is expensive as hell to purchase as "Thieves",
particularly certain brands.

I also generate my own colloidal silver. I use it for
everything, horses, chickens, garden, etc.
All family and friends have a concentrated bottle from
which to make dilute solutions as needed.

Re: A little Herb Summary vs COVID-19
I first learned about Osha from a local medicine man (southwest US). They chew on the root (little pieces) and then would spit it on their hands too. For protection.

Please put a warning about use if pregnant, as it can cause menses.

I would save the big doses (tinctures) for when the body needs it, as far as using it every day.

In my experience with adults and children, Osha works fastest when taken at first signs. As with all herbals.

Within 48 hours of dosages, all symptoms have cleared up including cough, pain in chest, wheezing and closed airways.

As a "sensitive" person this medicine goes straight to the chest/lung area upon consumption and expands only in that area.
 Quoting: Bodhi Sita

Hi Bodhi, would you have suggestion available how to best consume Ocha Root/ dosage and technique of intake?

Would like to add to recipes on front page since it seems Ocha Root is highly effective... Thanks so much!

Re: A little Herb Summary vs COVID-19
"Şalgam (SHAAL’- gahm) juice is a popular vegetable-based beverage from Turkey’s southeastern region around the cities of Mersin and Adana and is a great example of Turkish regional cuisine. In Turkish, the word ‘şalgam’ means turnip, but this traditional drink is actually made from purple carrots, bulgur wheat, salt, and yeast.

Şalgam juice is traditionally served ice cold in large glasses with long slices of pickled carrots, called ‘tane.’ Some like a spoon of hot red pepper relish stirred in just before serving for extra heat. Whether you like it spicy or mild, şalgam is one of the most popular drinks to accompany spicy Adana kebab.

Şalgam is also sometimes served alongside rakı, the famous Turkish anise beverage dubbed ‘lion’s milk.’ It makes a great chaser.

Ingredients
1 large turnip
1 large beet
2 pounds carrots
Juice of 2 lemons (or 1 1/2 tsp. crystal citric acid)
1/3 cup pickling salt
1/2 loaf of bread (Italian)
5 cups purified water
Steps to Make It
Wearing rubber gloves, peel the turnip and beet and slice them. Peel the carrots and divide them into fours.

Wrap the half a loaf of bread in the cheesecloth and tie off the end to make a ‘hobo sack.’ Put the sack inside the glass jar. Add the sliced vegetables and all the other ingredients except the salt.

In a separate container, mix the salt with about 3 cups of purified water to dissolve it, then pour it into the jar. Add more water if needed to fill the jar to the top with liquid, ensuring that all vegetables are completely covered in liquid. This is key to ensuring a safe environment for the vegetables to ferment. Close the lid tightly.

Set the jar aside in a cool place to ferment for 15 days. Don’t attempt to open the jar before 15 days pass.

After 15 days, open the jar and remove the cheesecloth and bread. The bread has acted as the fermenting agent. Like all fermented items, particularly turnips, the aroma may be pungent. This is normal, and a sign of good fermentation. Once you chill it, your ‘şalgam’ juice is ready to drink. You can serve the now pickled vegetables alongside to munch on."

I have made tea from fresh leaves and also chew on them occasionally, as our yard is full of it. It has a very medicinal taste. Lots of resins on the fresh leaves in spring and early summer. Unfortunately I have only used it sporadically as of yet, so I cannot personally confirm its benefits.
It does have a good reputation and definitely worth trying come sickness.

Ivermectin, one of the avermectins
The avermectins are a series of drugs and pesticides used to treat parasitic worms and insect pests. They are a 16-membered macrocyclic lactone derivatives with potent anthelmintic and insecticidal properties.[1][2] These naturally occurring compounds are generated as fermentation products by Streptomyces avermitilis, a soil actinomycete. Eight different avermectins were isolated in four pairs of homologue compounds, with a major (a-component) and minor (b-component) component usually in ratios of 80:20 to 90:10.[2] Other anthelmintics derived from the avermectins include ivermectin, selamectin, doramectin, eprinomectin, moxidectin, and abamectin.

Half of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded to William C. Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura for discovering avermectin, "the derivatives of which have radically lowered the incidence of river blindness and lymphatic filariasis, as well as showing efficacy against an expanding number of other parasitic diseases."[3]

1. Yarrow - antiviral used to remedy flus
2. Elderflower - also used to remedy flus

Nicotinamide Riboside. It raises NAD+ COVID depletes NAD+ then shuts down parps. Raising NAD+ in cells gives your cells a stronger chance to keep fighting the virus. Google nicotinamide Riboside and NAD+

Re: A little Herb Summary vs COVID-19
I have a question for those in the know about the herbal remedies.

I have almost all of that stuff but I never know how much of what to use in the preparation of the tea/potions. I eat garlic and hot peppers with just about everything so not concerned about that one.

How much tumeric do you use when preparing a concoction?

How much ginger? does it need to be freshly grated ginger or is dried ginger ok?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73449903

Personally, I take a lot of my herbals in capsule form.
I buy the vegetarian empty capsules in bulk for cheap and fill them myself.
Quick way to grab and go in the morning and before bed.

As far as Tumeric, I mix mine 50/50 with ground black pepper (for pain) I take 2 capsules every morning.

Ginger, I mostly eat fresh or fresh ground in tea.
And for a sweet treat instead of keeping bad candy around, I make sugared "crystalized" ginger.
Lots of recipes for it online.
Sugared keeps a long time sealed up.

My other supplements like NAC and vitamins are commercial pills.

Other fresh herbs, like hand picked dandelion just gets eaten fresh or sauteed like most edible greens. yum!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76538212

An additional way to increase bioavailability of Turmeric add lecithin powder to the mix.

Increase the bioavailability of curcumin

Turmeric is fat-soluble, thus for your body to fully absorb the compounds, you need to mix it with a a fat source, such as lecithin, coconut oil, flax, hemp or olive oil or ghee. When eaten with a healthy fat, your body directly absorbs curcumin into the bloodstream bypassing the liver.
