It's a fictional movie about this thing called outer space where targets go flying around on crazy looking spacecraft that seemed to work no problem

Re: Tracking ISS with my Telescope Live
I’ll never forget laughing at someone for telling me we could see it easily with the human eye if it was a clear night & passed over.

Then a few years ago I realised that we could see most satellites as they passed over although they are more tricky to focus on.

One evening I was laying down with my girlfriend & saw it, at first I thought ‘plane’ then realised the distance & speed made that impossible, & as it slowly rotated the reflection got brighter & brighter then slowly faded & then it was gone.

I still find it hard to believe we can see the ISS from down here lol.

I did this as a service to all of you. I don't even know why I bother anymore. I spent hours getting ready for this live stream and countless hours beforehand creating the software that made it possible to track the space station completely hands-free. It feels like about half the people watching will just troll me for putting in the effort.
