BEIJING (AP) — The number of new cases in China dropped for a second straight day in the virus outbreak that has infected about 45,000 people and killed more than 1,100, health officials said Wednesday.

DOESN'T MEAN LESS PEOPLE ARE DYING

Of course the “virus” was cover for something else but ya’ll knew that already.

Like I’ve said before, with that logic, we can make up any number and call it fact.

But are you hoping for more cases?

Shocking to see how many here want this “virus” to spread just to support the fact that they have their heels dug in that it will indeed spread.

The country’s National Health Commission said 2,015 new cases were counted on Tuesday, the second straight daily decline and down from nearly 3,900 a week ago. Commission spokesman Mi Feng said the situation is still grim but “we have seen some positive changes.”

WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in Geneva that the numbers “must be interpreted with extreme caution,” adding: “This outbreak could still go in any direction.” At the same time, he noted that the number of other countries reporting cases — about two dozen — has not changed since Feb. 4.

Very good news (well, except for those rooting for the “virus”).

Yup, I think one highly regarded model on here says the cases should be at about 2 million now or something. Juuuuust overshoots the mark by 1.95 million.

A huh. The current death rate outside China is about 0.00000000001% and not growing. GOD HELP US ALL!!!!

According to that highly regarded thread, there are now 28 MILLION infected OUTSIDE of China!!!

That’s like if you earn $50,000 a year but a friend asks you how much you make: “About $28 Million.”
