What's the fuss, shipping containers are very practical. Lorries drop them off rapido, already kitted out. When finished, strip out and reuse.

If it gets really bad, they'll just use a massive retail car park as a makeshift lego decontamination unit and treatment zone.

Rusty on the outside, so what, they've spent months at sea before being repurposed.

You won't get me in one of those pods.

I'll take my chances at home.

They would forget about you in there. The nurses and doctors wouldn't know what to do with you and would get busy doing something else.

Two or three days later (when they needed to reuse the pod) they would remember you. No loo and no bed. What a load of rubbish.

I bet they aren't even heated. It would be freezing. Better off in bed at home, since there is no treatment, apart from intensive care. By the looks of those pods, if you turn up at A&E there is no way you are getting into an ICU. It will be straight in the pod with you and only let out if they feel you are safe. If you are ill, they will be too frightened to come in.

at least they are acknowledging the problem its a step in the right direction they need to have them everywhere not just outside hospitals ..think schools .health centers .. anywhere people might gather from the look of things in china people collapse even on the street at least if these pods are easily found people can use them
