I notice the really needy people do this . When you are on the phone with these types they have to constantly be validating that you are in fact still there on the line. They say "you know " "right?" over and over. The other trigger word seems to be " Anyways" why do these people use "anyways" so much? They seem to discount what they just told you and say anyways as if it is not important or they say anyways after you say something. These learned behaviors are ectremely annoying because they constantly have to bring your attention by asking you to maintenance therm on the phone by asking you if you know what they mean. I tell people does a newspaper article say "you know " in it? Does it ask you if you are still reading every few sentences? This is a serious problem the speaking habits of many. I say " Dude you are you knowing the shit out of me." Wow it's everywhere. Thanks for all the good input and I think yes it is because they do not know.
