a line has surface. it's the distance from one point to another.
the surface of one point to another point is surface area
in this case that measurement is the same as measuring volume

I am not particularly Buddhist, but noting realization of emptiness of phenomena. Their compassion for sentient beings is in that realization.

Other paths I believe do the same, if with different vocabulary. Love without object, (or with merging). The samadhis or trance states become undivided therefore with emptiness inherent, though one may choose a different term.

Keeping thought channels clear may serve to maintain higher vibrations directly, while others may work more in substance of circumstance. Such abilities would be integrated. The one is the power source. Even if using symbols, energy concentrated is undivided, like a plasma; the same going subtle is the purified consciousness.
