Sick of shaving and getting ingrown hairs?? is it possible to zap them with a battery instead of robbing a bank in order to buy the real machines which nobody seems to have a consensus on whether they even work or not.

Drinking Spearmint tea is supposed to help regulate hormones and decrease testosterone that encourages hair growth see #3 and 4 below in link

need a way of killing the hair follicle forever, without a multi thousand dollar laser or electrolysis machine..

Surely repeated battery zapping wont exactly help the follicle.

Re: Anyone ever tried electrolysis on unwanted hair using a 9v battery?
I had my entire beard removed by conventional electrolysis. The center I went to used local anesthesia, and a little sedation. I slept and listened to music on headphones while my beard hairs were individually removed.

I had 6 eight-hour sessions spaced about two months apart. Later, I went back for some touch-up work when a few particularly hardy hairs regrew.

I left my sideburns long so I could raise/lower them as I choose. I also left the mustache area at full-density so I can grow a respectable 'stache' in about a week or less. Shaving either of those areas can be done in under 2 minutes and avoiding the skin infections, rashes, etc., is well worth the cost which was near $22k plus travel and lodging/meals/etc.

No . 9volts d.c. is not going to create much (ifany ) current flow through the skin/hair resistance.

Re: Anyone ever tried electrolysis on unwanted hair using a 9v battery?
Seriously, only electrolysis does work over time. Then it is mere maintenance once every year or even every other year. I have used electrolysis since I was a teen. It is very effective.

Hope this helps.

Don't allow them to use a laser on your skin EVER. My daughter was offered to do her face with a laser for free. My daughter based on my advice turned in down.

Do not do laser. Laser breaks down the collagen layer of the skin. Aging the skin & making lines appear where laser was used. I researched laser for my cousin who wanted to laser her skin to remove her freckles. The pics & the stories were horrible. One woman said she wished she had not been so vain. Now instead of acne scars she has the skin of a seventy year old woman. She would rather just have the acne scars. These stories & pics have been scrubbed from internet.

Re: Anyone ever tried electrolysis on unwanted hair using a 9v battery?
A car battery will not shock you, even 2 in series for 24volts won't do anything. You can keep adding/stacking 9 volt batts and get the voltage needed to kill hair without current that will harm you.

People are so clueless about electricity. In high school I used to chase "certain" people with a spark plug hooked to nothing... just hold it and chase them, HIGH SCHOOL.

i see you're also a bit of a moran.

i wasn't talking about shock. but, if you're so sure about your post, you can even do it with a 9 volt. take a short, exposed copper wire, and attach one end to the positive, and one to the negative. wait until it starts glowing, and then touch it on your hairy skin. let me know how that works out for you. if you're extra sure, try it with the car battery. enjoy! hf

I am with you OP, there has to be a way to kill a damn hair without spending a fortune. May be hook a wire to each end of the battery and each side of the tweezers with insulation elc tape to hold on to. Hold onto the hair until it comes loose using conductive gel on the hair? Bump for more info.......
