Good question. Maybe we don't know what it even is.

Humans are all born with an inherent need to worship their maker, just as we have an inherent need for love..it is what makes up the human make up...

Even children begin to ask questions about God very early on

Jesus told humans not only how to find happiness but gave them a hope for an eternal future on earth in happiness...

"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ"- John 17:3
